Apple Latin America and Caribbean Marketing Communications Group (ALAC Marcom)
For years I have secretly marveled, deeply admired, and similarly modeled much of my work to Apple’s ground breaking communication strategy, and award winning branding design. Not only has Apple revolutionized whole industries, but it’s hardware and software have become indispensable tools that have elevated the standard and surpassed expectations in terms of design, productivity and ease of use. Apple is also known for its diversity and inclusion, values I stand for.
My career has been shaped at the intersection between production, communication, marketing, and storytelling. Having worked on an array of diverse work, from TV commercials, TV series, to trans-media narrative across multiple platforms, I have developed a method of working that relies on research, planning, and knowing how to prioritize and set team expectations.
My management style is engaging the team on the vision, empowering the team’s abilities with training, provide encouragement, share ideas, and provide positive feedback for a smooth working environment. I consider myself a person that lives with integrity, and leads by example.
What I have learned so far in my years in film production, project management, and marketing, are the massive shifts. From the dominance of 35mm film to digital filmmaking, cellphones to smart phones, 3D and now VR, as well as the undeniable power of social media, all the while, creating content that quells the user’s desire to be entertained and amazed. In the case of Apple, the audience and users already expect a certain design and communication language, one that is unique. The challenge then is to sustain this success while also finding avenues of untapped growth as well as finding the next steps, since the only predictable path has been one of continuous change. As such I’ve developed a malleable mindset, which allows me to quickly learn, adapt, and implement the new as well as the necessary, and be open to learning disciplines that have yet to be invented.
I believe these reasons make me a strong candidate to become Apple’s Integrated Producer.
Thank you for your time and your consideration, I am aware recruiting is a stressful process, so I would like to take this moment to wish you the best of luck in finding the perfect candidate.
